Indus Motor Company launches what it calls a 'service campaign' over fuel pump issue

Karachi: Indus Motor Corporate (IMC), the makers of Toyota Corolla in Pakistan, introduced a national ‘provider marketing campaign’ for tens of hundreds of its automobiles over a suspected inaccurate gasoline pump mechanism, advising shoppers to have their automobiles checked at accepted dealerships.

The advance was once showed to Trade Recorder by way of IMC Leader Government Officer Ali Asghar Jamali who stated that the “gasoline pump mechanism in some Toyota automobiles might fail to perform”.

“This will result in low or no gasoline provide to the automobile techniques resulting in stoppage of the automobile or a beginning downside. The engine test mild will display the caution,” Jamali instructed Trade Recorder.

  4. Toyota Land Cruiser: made of December 2013 to January 2019

  5. Toyota Prado petrol variant: made of October 2013 to February 2015 and from June 2018 to April 2019

  6. Toyota Hiace: made of June 2018 to December 2018

  7. Toyota Camry: made of June 2018 to July 2018
