Japan issued evacuation requests to greater than 120,000 citizens in some southern prefectures because of heavy rain on Saturday, NHK reported, simply days after fatal landslides struck the beach town of Atami southwest of Tokyo.

The Japan Meteorological Company issued its absolute best rain signals in 3 prefectures on Kyushu island, prompting some native governments to reserve citizens to evacuate.

Every week in the past heavy rains lashed the hotel town of Atami, triggering landslides that experience killed no less than 9 other folks and left 20 lacking.
